About me
PASSION & VOCATION
Whether it’s jogging, cycling, Pilates, tennis or volleyball… sport has been part of my life since childhood. It’s my outlet, helps me to calm down after a long day at work, is simply good for me and a lot of fun. An injury or an incorrect movement sequence can massively restrict this fun. Have you ever tried to make yourself something to eat with a broken arm? Or tie your shoes with severe back pain? What a challenge!
My own experiences with numerous sports injuries certainly influenced my choice of career – I quickly learned how important the right therapy is in order to recover as quickly as possible. Perhaps that’s why it’s also important to me to help people so that exercise no longer hurts. Exercise doesn’t necessarily have to be sport – first and foremost, it includes all the movements needed to cope with everyday life.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Thanks to my many years of professional experience, I have numerous qualifications in the field of therapy: I am not only a physiotherapist, but also a manual therapist, offering manual lymphatic drainage as well as massages. My “specialty” is sports physiotherapy / orthopaedics / traumatology. Additional training as an International Personal Trainer (NASM), “physyolates” trainer and TRX trainer and physiotherapy on equipment enable me to offer you comprehensive care as a patient.
I also work with kinesio tapes. In the area of sports coaching, I have gained experience in tennis, American football and triathlon.
After successfully completing my physiotherapy training in Iserlohn, North Rhine-Westphalia, I worked in various renowned physiotherapy centers throughout Germany – including the well-known Medical Park St. Hubertus in Bad Wiessee on Lake Tegernsee. The highlights of my physiotherapy career include two years as a physiotherapist on the ships of the AIDA fleet. In 2009, I took over the specialist management of the NOVOTERGUM therapy center before becoming self-employed in 2011.
In October 2012, I opened my own premises near the Isartor and am now looking forward to welcoming you to my new premises at Rosenheimer Str. 16 in Munich from September 2020!
I have been a sectoral alternative practitioner/physiotherapist since 2021.
In August 2025, I closed my practice in Munich and decided to make a new start in Andalusia, Spain.
I am there for you on the beautiful Costa del Sol between Torrox and Marbella.
