Physiotherapy

FINALLY PAIN-FREE AGAIN
Physiotherapy involves a thorough medical history and detailed visual, tactile and movement examinations in an attempt to find the cause of your problems. If your prescription says “spinal syndrome”, this does not necessarily mean that your spine is the cause of your problems. The therapist uses various techniques to help the patient’s body regain its full range of movement and function. Ideally, complete freedom from pain can be achieved. However, the basic prerequisite for this is the patient’s cooperation.

MANUAL THERAPY
Manual therapy is a branch of physiotherapy for which the therapist must complete additional training. The application of manual therapy requires that the whole body is included in the treatment. This includes all the nerves, muscles and joints involved. Pain and disorders in the musculoskeletal system are alleviated through manual therapy. The aim is not only to cure symptoms, but also to find the causes of your pain and, ideally, to eliminate them completely.
LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
Lymphatic drainage is a special method of decongesting swollen areas of the body. Manual lymphatic drainage can help you to cope with everyday life without pain, especially after operations. Special massage and grip techniques ensure that the activity of the lymph glands is increased. This reduces swelling and pain in the affected areas of the body. Manual lymphatic drainage is characterized by the successful combination of relaxation and positive health effects. The effects of manual lymphatic drainage are wide-ranging: First and foremost, it is used to decongest and treat edema in swollen areas of the body, such as the arms and legs. Special massage techniques are used to stimulate the lymph vessels and nodes in the affected region. After tumor removal or sports injuries, it can be useful to activate the lymphatic system with skillful massage techniques. Manual lymphatic drainage can also have a beneficial and pain-relieving effect after trauma (sprains, strains, bruises).
